BELGRADE GAMES VOLUNTEERS

WE NEED YOU!

Belgrade Games competition would not happen without our incredible team of volunteers. This tight knit community of people come from gyms all across the region. We have spots open in all types of work that include Athlete Relations and Equipment Crew. We honestly couldn’t do this without the volunteers who are truly the heartbeat of the competition. With that we try our absolute best to make sure you are taken care of. This includes meals on all 3 days of competition, swag from our sponsors, and official Event Staff gear.

VOLUNTEER ROLES

Athlete Control

Belgrade Games team is seeking individuals that love dealing with people face to face. The Athlete Control team's responsibilities include; greeting athletes, athlete check in, heat schedule management, score runners, and corralling athletes for their event. Clear, confident communication is a virtue when it comes to working in Athlete Control. It’s also important to stay positive and put on a smile to help keep the athletes cool and calm before they head out onto the competition floor. This is really the team that keeps everything running smooth, ensuring that both athletes and spectators can experience the event to its fullest.

Equipment Crew

The engine room of the Belgrade Games! This team is responsible for dressing the floor with all the tools of the trade with which the athletes will test themselves across 3 days of competition. The equipment crew is one of the hardest working groups of people, but probably no better feeling than sitting back after a long day and watching the fitness go down on the massive event you just helped build. We could always use the hands here and would love to have you.
You don’t have to clean & jerk a hundred kilos, however you will need to have some endurance and be mentally tough to endure a big weekend of shifting tin.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We'll send you information about your chosen role before event day so you know what to expect.
Volunteers will be fully briefed live beforehand a day before the event start and with a quick recap in the morning every day of the event (normally 7:00-20:00 with breaks and shifts)
